On June 4, 2006 I went to a house sale at Esther Tucker's to examine the books she is offering to the Carnegie Library and the Friends of the Library group. I took photos of them in order to show the quantity and quality to other people who will be choosing books to sell or to add to the Library collections.

Two of the photos I took didn't work. There are a few cookbooks in a cupboard in the kitchen, and a bookcase containing 75-100 mysteries in the living room (you can see the corner of it on the left of picture #1).

I threw this page together at the last minute and am using photos from my digital camera for the first time. I was surprised by how large they are, and by the fact that the thumbnails are oddly sparkly and the spines of the books are not readable. But my e-mail said the pictures would be online, so here they are. The "medium" size (full screen + scrolling) are better.
